Popup Zoo 3.0

"Popup Zoo" is a mobile application that harnesses Augmented Reality (AR) technology to provide an interactive educational tool for children. Through this innovative technology, lifelike 3D animals materialize in the child's surroundings, offering a visually engaging experience that can enhance cognitive abilities and literacy skills. The real-time 3D feature enables users to manipulate the animals by rotating them a full 360 degrees, thus expanding the entertainment value of the application.

Key Learning Modules:

1. AR Mode: To activate this mode, users press the "Start" button on the main menu to access the camera function. By placing the illustrated side of the card beneath the device until its complete outline is visible, a virtual animal will be projected onto the card. Interactivity can be further enhanced by tapping the screen to animate both visual and audio elements of the animal. (Note: Accessing this feature requires downloading and printing a PDF file with 2D animal images via the printer button on the main menu.)
2. Preview Mode: This mode operates independently from the physical cards. By selecting the "Preview" option from the main menu, users can browse through various animal options using left and right arrows. Additionally, users can rotate each animal's angle and view by swiping their finger across the screen. The touch screen allows for further interaction with both visual and audio features of each animal.
3. Language Learning Models: Users can choose from multiple languages - including Chinese, English, Spanish, and Korean - to engage with pronunciation variations.
